FISHERSVILLE, Va. — The Virginia Farm Show will be held in Fishersville, Va. on January 19-21. In its 15th year, the show is an agricultural trade show geared toward both full-time and part-time farmers. Originally held in Richmond, the Virginia Farm Show moved in 2002. It is being held again this year at the Augusta Expo Land, and the show has expanded to include two buildings and several heated tents as well as an outdoor display area for equipment and machinery. Exhibitors range from seed companies, breed associations and tractor manufacturers to banks and lenders and real estate and auction houses.

“We are expecting 180 exhibitors,” said Bruce Button, Vice-President and General Manager of Lee Publications, Inc.

The Virginia Agribusiness Council started the Virginia Farm Show in 1996. Lee Publications, Inc. took over organizing the show in 1997 and has been managing it since. Producing trade shows for the agriculture, construction, aggregate and horticulture industries, Lee Publications, Inc. has organized 60 shows since 1982 including the Keystone Farm Show held in York, Pa.

For the third year in a row, the Virginia Farm Bureau is the Diamond Level Sponsor for the rodeo which allows entrants a chance to compete for cash and prizes.
