subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream
outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Sheep and Lambs: When compared to last week, slaughter lambs
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Slaughter ewes traded 10.00-20.00
lower. Demand was very moderate for all classes due in part to
the larger supply offered. Slaughter supply consisted of 78
percent lambs, 14 percent slaughter ewes, and 8 percent
miscellaneous stock. All sheep and lambs are destined for
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the
hundred weight,on actual weights.

Choice and Prime 2-3 40-60 lbs 200.00-204.00; 50-60 lbs hair
sheep 160.00-195.00; 60-80 lbs 158.00-192.00; hair sheep 158.00-
180.00; 80-100 lbs 154.00-170.00. Wooled and Shorn Choice and
Prime 3-4 50-80 lbs 220.00-224.00. Wooled and Shorn Good and
Choice 1-3 40-60 lbs 142.00-164.00; 50-60 lbs hair sheep 140.00-
162.00; 60-80 lbs 142.00-166.00, hair sheep 140.00-142.00; 80-100
lbs 138.00-156.00, hair sheep 130.00-154.00; 110-130 lbs 140.00-

Slaughter Ewes: Good 2-3 Medium Flesh 100-120 lbs hair sheep

Utility 1-2 Thin Flesh 100-110 lbs hair sheep 48.00-52.00; 110-
160 lbs 38.00-54.00; 120-160 lbs hair sheep 42.00-52.00; 160-200
lbs 42.00-56.00. Cull 1-2 130-150 lbs 32.00-44.00.
Slaughter Bucks: 130-150 lbs hair sheep 70.00-105.00; 170-190
lbs 64.00-76.00; 200-250 lbs 55.00-64.00.

Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid
goats sold mostly 20.00-30.00 lower. Slaughter Nanny goats
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher. Slaughter billies sold 10.00-
20.00 higher compared to a very light test last week. Demand
was moderate for all classes. Slaughter supply consisted of
55 percent Slaughter Kids, 33 percent Slaughter Nannies, and
12 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All Goats are sold by
the head on estimated weights.

Slaughter Kids: Selection 1 40-60 lbs 132.00-152.00; 60-80
lbs 147.00-174.00; 80-110 lbs 140.00-147.00. Selection 2 40-60
lbs 110.00-127.00; 60-80 lbs 110.00-140.00; 80-100 lbs 115.00-
120.00. Selection 3 40-60 lbs 48.00-90.00; 60-80 lbs 80.00-102.00.
Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1 110-120 lbs 120.00-180.00;
130-150 lbs 122.00-190.00. Selection 2 100-130 lbs 87.00-115.00;
