When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold mostly
steady. Demand was good. Slaughter Holsteins mostly steady on a light
test. Demand was good. Slaughter heifers 1.00-2.00 higher on a light
test. Slaughter cows mostly steady to a 1.00 higher. Demand was good.
Cattle supplies included 177 slaughter steers; 68 heifers; 527 cows;
33 bulls; and 23 feeder cattle. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1250-1650 lbs 125.00-
126.00. Choice 2-3 1270-1600 lbs 121.00-124.00. Select 1-3 1250-1650
lbs 117.00-120.00.

40.00 higher compared to last week on good demand. Heifers sold mostly
steady to 10.00 lower on moderate demand compared to last week. Ag Market
News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 435 head for this
Thursday's graded sale. One hundred percent supply Holstein calves unless
otherwise noted. All prices per cwt.
Graded Bull Calves: Number 1 120-128 lbs 149.00; 90-118 lbs 162.00-
176.00. Number 2 88-128 lbs 160.00-176.00; 80-88 lbs 80.00. Number 3
100-130 lbs 137.00-140.00; 90-98 lbs 150.00-155.00; 72-88 lbs 50.00-70.00.
Utility 60-110 lbs 20.00-40.00.
Holstein Heifer Calves: 85-100 lbs 90.00-125.00. Number 2 80-95 lbs
