Grain mostly lower, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was down 5.25 cents to $4.8540 a bushel; December corn was 3 cents lower at $3.7520 a bushel; December oats were 2.50 cents higher at 2.2740 a bushel; while November soybeans was lower 4.50 cents to 8.94 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 1.40 cent lower at $1.4235 a pound; November feeder cattle was 2.43 cent lower at $1.9183 a pound; December lean hogs lost 2 cents to $.6445 a pound.
