Grain futures mostly fall, lifestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly fell Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 5 cents to $7.82 a bushel; March corn fell 2.25 cents to $7.38 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.62 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 9.75 cents to $14.69 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.23 cent to $1.3315 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.70 cent to $1.4980 a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.50 cent to 89.75 cents a pound.
