Pennsylvania Hunt Cup set for a day of fair weather and fast racing

The course for the 78th running of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is fresh and green from the recent rains and ready for the an afternoon of steeplechase racing at its tradition grounds near Unionville, Pa. Sunday, Nov. 4.

A fair day is forecast for the day, but the races will be held rain or shine.

Gates open at 11 a.m. and post time for the first race is 1:30 p.m. Before that there will be a pony race and a carriage parade.

General admission is $50 per car which includes parking and admission for all occupants of one vehicle. Online subscriptions are closed but passes for the infield, hilltop and general parking will be available on race day at gate No. 1 off Newark Rd.
