RINGOES, N.J. — The Hunterdon County 4-H Dairy Show was held Aug. 24 with more than 40 participants from the Mount Airy and Dilts Corner Dairy clubs.
Emily Sigle of Delaware Township won supreme champion for her Jersey cow, and Marissa Kerkendall received reserve supreme champion for her Holstein heifer.
Lexxie Helbig of Pittstown won junior champion and reserve grand champion for her Brown Swiss. Emma Sneddon of Stockton received reserve junior champion for her Brown Swiss. Jacob Hoffman of Califon earned grand champion and senior champion for his Brown Swiss.
John Paul Hunt of West Amwell received junior/grand champion for his Guernsey. Alexander Eldrige won reserve junior/grand champion for his Guernsey.
Emily Siegel of Delaware Township won junior champion, senior champion, and grand champion for her Jersey animals. Samantha Locandro of Delaware Township received reserve junior champion, reserve senior champion, and reserve grand champion for her Jersey animals.
Forest Locandro of Delaware Township won junior/grand champion for his Milking Shorthorn.
Daniel Persichilli of Pennington won junior champion for his Holstein heifer. Elizabeth McGrath of Neshanic received junior champion for her Holstein heifer. Marissa Kerkendall of Columbia earned senior champion and grand champion for her Holstein cow. Myranda Bond of Stockton received senior reserve champion and reserve grand champion for her Holstein cow.
In the special classes category, dam and daughter was won by Myranda Bond of Stockton and her Holsteins. Best udder was won by Emily Sigle of Delaware Township and her Jersey cow. Bred by exhibitor was earned by Emily Sigle of Delaware Township and her Jersey cow. Bred by lessee was won by Elizabeth McGrath of Neshanic and her Holstein.
