Sullivan Co. Selects New Dairy Court

DUSHORE, Pa. — Sullivan County, Pa., recently chose Mackenna Bagley as its new 2012-2013 dairy princess at a pageant held at the Agriculture Resource Center in Dushore, Pa.

Past dairy princess Justine McCarty crowned the dairy maids, new alternate and new dairy princess.

Mackenna is the daughter of Craig and Jamie Bagley, of Shunk, Pa. She owns 20 milk cows, and her favorite breed of cow is Brown Swiss. She is active in dairy 4-H and has been showing for the past 8 years; she is also active in the 4-H livestock club. Mackenna volunteers at her local fire company and was a Sullivan County Fair junior fair queen. She enjoys being outdoors and working with animals, writing, photography, baking and painting.

Heather Fitzgerald was named the Sullivan County alternate princess. Fitzgerald is the daughter of David and Ann Fitzgerald, Dushore, Pa. Her hobbies are reading, singing, dancing and playing guitar.

The new dairy maids are Shayla Radencic, Dushore, Pa.; Maranna Nitcznski, Dushore, Pa.; and Elizabeth Fluck, Forksville, Pa.

At the pageant, a special service award from Pennsylvania Dairy Princess and Promotion Services was presented to Mary Lambert of Dushore, for her more than 40 years directing the Sullivan County dairy princess program.
