Apparently the criticism has gotten to Senator Joe Scarnati. The Associated Press reported Monday afternoon that Scarnati had planned to fully reimburse Consol Energy Inc. for the ticket, airfare and hotel room he got to attend the Superbowl in Dallas earlier this month.
This whole thing raises questions as to how many other politicians have been getting pampered by the gas companies and if it has influenced their views on the issues. - Chris Torres
