MINOT, N.D. (AP) — It's Pride of Dakota Day at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot.
More than 500 companies are members of the state Agriculture Department's Pride of Dakota branding program. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says more than 20 of them will be offering a wide range of products at the fair on Monday, from food to jewelry.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the southwest part of the fairgrounds. It will include a $1 Pride of Dakota lunch of a grilled hot dog, potato chips and milk, and also a kuchen (KOO'-kuhn) contest.
