SHELL EGGS: Daily California Eggs
MARCH 06, 2015
Benchmark prices are steady. Asking prices for next week are unchanged on
all sizes. Trade sentiment is usually steady. Offerings are moderate for
all sizes except for Jumbo which are reported as tight to short of needs.
Demand is moderate to fairly good with more ad activity noted for this
week. Warehouse distributive demand continues in a rather hand to mouth
fashion as orders for product outside of features is still below average in
most locations. Supplies are tight for Jumbo and moderate on the balance of
sizes. Market activity is slow. Small benchmark price $1.64.
