NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $7.60 to $8.70 a bale higher Monday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 145 cents to 59.91 cents per pound Monday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
