NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed 75 cents a bale higher to $7.65 lower Monday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 115 cents to 61.15 cents per pound Monday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
