NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed 30 cents a bale lower to $1.35 higher Thursday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 4 cents to 60.30 cents per pound Thursday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
