NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $1.90 to $3.05 a bale higher Friday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 27 points to 81.33 cents per pound Friday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
