York Banquet to Spotlight Legacy in Agriculture’

The York County Agriculture Business Council will hold its 27th annual Agricultural Recognition Banquet at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the York Expo Center, Old Main Hall.

The keynote speaker will be leadership expert Rhett Laubach, who will talk about people’s ability to positively influence people and situations to create value and growth.

Awards will be given for outstanding farm family, outstanding ag industry and outstanding youth in agriculture, along with the 5th “Tony Dobrosky Future Leader Award.”

There will also be a Legacy Challenge in memory of John T. Smith, co-founder of the council, to support the York County 4-H Endowment Fund. A silent auction will raise funds to support the council and its education efforts.

Cost is $32 per person. Businesses may sponsor tables and receive either eight or four banquet tickets with advertising opportunities. Reservations are due March 1.
