NM Ag Dean to Keynote Lancaster Ag Industry Banquet

LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry will celebrate the people who make Lancaster County’s agriculture world-renowned at its 37th annual Agriculture Industry Banquet 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton.

Lowell Catlett, professor in agricultural economics and dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University, will be the keynote speaker.

Catlett works nationally and internationally with corporations and organizations doing futuristic planning concerning the impacts of technology on careers, lifestyles and the economy.

He received his doctorate in economics from Iowa State University and is an author of numerous books and articles.
