The Penn State Extension Dairy Team has re-scheduled the Middle Managers Conference for March 5, 2014.

Originally set for Nov. 6, the conference will help managers and midlevel supervisors develop practical skills to make their dairy farms more successful businesses.

The March 5 conference will be 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Best Western Premier Central Hotel and Conference Center, Harrisburg, Pa.

The program will remain the same, featuring a keynote speaker, breakout sessions and panel discussions to allow for maximum discussion and learning.

This program is eligible for 2 SmartStart credits from AgChoice Farm Credit.

Cost is $95. The Center for Dairy Excellence is providing $50 Scholarships for the first 30 registrants. Contact Laurie Porter at 888-373-7232 or lap34<\@>psu.edu for more details.

For more information about the presentations, contact Lisa Holden, associate professor of dairy science at Penn State, at lah7<\ //extension.psu.edu/animals/dairy/courses/middle-managers-conference.
