Meeting to Focus on Biomass Energy From Woodlands

On Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Cumberland Woodland Owners’ Association meeting, Michael Jacobson, Penn State professor of forest resources, will speak on biomass as a renewable energy resource and the impact this may have on Pennsylvania forests.

The meeting, which will be open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Cumberland County Extension Office, 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, Pa. There is no cost to attend.
