WAKEFIELD, Va. — Hoober Inc., an agricultural equipment dealer with nine locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, has announced that Daniel Bowie has joined the Wakefield store as a precision farming specialist.

In his role, Bowie will be responsible for working with customers in the region in all aspects of precision agriculture.

A native of Sparta, Va., and graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in agricultural sciences and minors in geography and crop and soil environmental sciences, Bowie completed three months of training with Hoober’s Precision Farming Team to learn the dealership’s capabilities and approach to precision farming solutions for farmers.

“Precision ag has been my primary interest for a number of years and the team at Hoober has some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry,” Bowie said.

“We’re excited to have Daniel as part of our team,” said Ken Diller, Hoober’s precision farming manager. “He has a passion for precision farming, the technology and how they can help farmers be more productive.”
