A San Francisco-based nonprofit group, FruitGuys Community Fund, has announced that it will offer small grants for sustainable farming projects in the Delaware Valley.

The new nonprofit (fiscally sponsored by Community Initiatives) was started last year by The FruitGuys LLC.

“This first year, we are focusing on small farms in Northern California and the Delaware Valley, Kim Jordan, the fund’s project manager, said in a prepared statement. “Small grants ($2,500-5000) will be made to farmers to aid in making their farms more sustainable.”

The deadline to apply is March 1. More information can be found at or by contacting Jordan at communityfund<\@>
