Food for Profit Workshop Set for Several Locations

Penn State Extension’s Food for Profit is a one-day workshop designed to help farmers work through the maze of local and state regulations, food safety issues, and business management concepts that must be considered in setting up a commercial food business.

The course will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Montrose on Oct. 1; Gettysburg, Oct. 4; Dauphin, Oct. 10; Philadelphia, Oct. 18; and Clarion, Nov. 14.

Registration is $45, which includes lunch.
