NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Pennsylvania Farm Bureau was recognized with five national awards during the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 94th Annual Meeting Jan. 12-15 in Nashville.

It received “Awards for Excellence” in all five program activity areas — agriculture education and promotion, leadership development, member services, policy implementation, and public relations and information. It also received an Apex Award to spotlight its increased total investment to the federation’s Foundation for Agriculture.

“The awards demonstrate the hard work and dedication of our grass-roots farmer volunteers and organization staff,” said Farm Bureau President Carl T. Shaffer.
