Conservation Funding Available for Snyder County

MIDDLEBURG, Pa. — Any Snyder County farmer interested in installing conservation practices such as stream bank fencing, cattle stream crossings, barnyard improvements, pasture improvements and expansions, or manure stacking areas or storages should contact the Snyder County Conservation District and apply by Dec. 28.

The Conservation District is gathering a list of interested farmers to apply for Chesapeake Bay Special Project funds from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). There is no guarantee that any and all projects will be funded.
