The 29th annual Mercer County Country Tour will feature seven stops in the eastern part of county 1-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15.
Participants in the free drive-it-yourself tour can visit the stops in any order and stay for as little or long a time as desired.
A self-guiding tour map with descriptions and driving directions may be obtained at many area agriculture businesses, libraries and the Mercer County Cooperative Extension office.
Stops include Kevin and Deb Minor’s Longhorns/Watusi cattle, Minor Acres Dairy Farm, Pasture Perfect Beef, Bugle Point Elk, Highland Alpacas, Ebenezer Presbyterian Church hosting the food stop with the sheep tent and Mobile Ag Science Lab, and Emmett’s Orchard.
